Clean Water meets Clean Energy
We set up solar powered water pumps to provide clean spring water to the local communities.
Project Summary:
Each year, approximately 3.5 million people worldwide lose their lives to waterborne diseases, making it one of the leading causes of illness and death globally.
Yet, many of these diseases can be prevented—simply by ensuring access to clean, safe water.
To help address this crisis, we are currently constructing 20 solar-powered water pumps across villages near Okitipupa in Ondo State, Nigeria. These pumps tap into natural water sources, providing reliable access to clean water for local residents.
Powered by the sun, the system offers an eco-friendly and dependable solution—especially vital in areas where electricity is often unavailable.
Local community members have been trained to operate and maintain the pumps, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.
